Kofa Protect 7.0 – optimizes the quality of wet feed.
Kofa Protect 7.0 preserves the wet feed and thereby prevents the feed from being incorrectly fermented. Kofa Protect 7.0 is therefore used in herds where great emphasis is placed on optimal feed quality - and where the objective is the least possible loss of feed value.
The individual raw materials used in the feed mixture usually have different hygiene status – the different raw materials can contain harmful fungi and other harmful microorganisms. When the raw materials are mixed in mixing vessels, these germs are evenly distributed throughout the feed mixture. All the feed will be inoculated with the yeast cultures found in the raw materials - with the result that the entire feed mixture will be misfermented.
A faulty fermentation means that the feed loses its feed value and this implies a reduced productivity of the animals - in the extreme it causes the animals to suffer from unfortunate diseases.
Kofa Protect 7.0 preserves the feed and ensures feed hygiene for up to 24 hours. The growth of yeasts and molds is prevented due to the active ingredients found in Kofa Protect 7.0 - and this means that the feed quality is preserved.
Mode of action: Kofa Protect 7.0 contains active substances which ensure that the feed remains stable - precisely because the active substances prevent the fermentation process from taking place. When the fermentation process is neutralized, it is ensured that nutrients are not used in this process - and the feed therefore retains its feed value. The growth of yeast and mold is prevented.
The success of Kofa Protect 7.0 depends entirely on good hygiene routines, good and reasonable handling of raw materials, the quality of the raw materials, maintenance/replacement of membranes and routine cleaning of mixing tanks - and water is added to Kofa Protect 7.0 already at the beginning of feed intake.
